Description

A classic sleeveless A-line cheongsam with a Mandarin collar and a pink piping that runs from the middle of the collar and across the chest, from Maison Q's Chinese New Year 2026 collection. Snap closure buttons run halfway down the back for ease of wear.

Because it is reversible it can be worn inside out — one side is Vivacious Miss Pony, the other is Panda Playground. Double the fun, twice the mileage.

The prints

Vivacious Miss Pony is set against Maison Q's mini signature scallop in a brilliant red. At its heart is a galloping horse captured mid-stride in an upward motion, symbolising victory, strength and growth — look closer and the horse's front legs echo the Chinese character for mǎ (马). Pegasus, the mythical flying horse, soars through the scene with wings outstretched, and jasmine, said to be a lucky flower in the Year of the Horse, is peppered throughout.

Panda Playground brings back Maison Q's favourite cuddly creature, inspired by the different ways pandas behave around the world. One balances happily on a rocking horse, another enjoys a favourite treat of bamboo, and others join the celebrations by hanging lanterns. A treehouse winds its way through a flourishing orange tree, and the lawn beneath is peppered with bright oranges, a symbol of prosperity during Chinese New Year.

Care

Gentle machine wash on cold, with like colours, in a laundry bag.
Do not soak. No clothes dryer.
Iron on medium heat. On a reversible piece, iron away from the hemline and towards the centre so the two layers of fabric do not gather at the hem.
Do not iron over brand labels or snap closure buttons.
Go easy on the detergent — too much can affect the durability and colour of cotton over time.
