Description

A classic sleeveless A-line cheongsam with a Mandarin collar and a red piping that runs from the middle of the collar and across the chest. A charming horse is intricately embroidered on the bottom right, adding a punch of fun to the outfit. A good quality invisible zipper is sewn down the back for ease of wear. This is a single-sided piece and is not reversible.

The print

Red Scallop draws its inspiration from the seigaiha, a traditional wave-like pattern of stacked circles. The high points in the seigaiha represent the peaks of waves, symbolising perseverance, resilience and surges of good fortune. The print holds a special place at Maison Q — it was the first featured in the label's inaugural collection, launched in 2015.
