Choosing a flow rate

Tommee Tippee's flow rates are marked on the teat itself and on the pack — apart from the pack design and the flow marking, the teats look alike, so check before you fit one.

Extra Slow — from birth, for gentle first feeds
Slow (this pack) — from 0 months, for newborns and babies below 3 months
Vari — from 0 months; an X-shaped cut lets your baby control the flow
Medium — from 3 months
Fast — from 6 months

Cleaning and care

Sterilise before first use and clean after every use.
Inspect before every use and pull the teat in all directions. Throw it away at the first sign of damage or weakness.
Replace the teats every 2 months for safety and hygiene.
Do not turn the teat inside out to clean it.

Always supervise feeding. Never let a baby feed unattended or fall asleep with a bottle — prolonged contact with liquids causes tooth decay. Always check the temperature of the feed before giving it. Keep unused parts out of reach of children.
