Description

The BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft is the classic BabyBjörn baby bouncer, here in breathable 3D mesh on a light grey frame. It rocks on nothing but your baby's own movements — no batteries, no motor, no cables. The flexible frame follows what your baby does and stops when they stop. As they grow and work out how to set it going themselves, the bouncer becomes a toy as much as a resting place, and quietly exercises their balance and motor skills.

When your child can walk and sit down unaided, turn the fabric seat around and the same frame becomes a comfy little chair — so one purchase covers birth to roughly two years. The mesh seat is airy and quick-drying, which makes it the sensible choice in a warm climate.

Age and Weight

From birth to approximately two years — minimum 3.5 kg (8 lbs) and 53 cm, maximum 13 kg (29 lbs).

As a bouncer (max 9 kg / 20 lbs) — always use the restraint system and check both buttons are locked. Stop using it as a bouncer when your child starts trying to sit up or reaches 9 kg, whichever comes first.
As a chair (max 13 kg / 29 lbs, or 2 years) — use as a chair once your child can walk and sit down on their own, or from 18 months, whichever comes first. Turn the fabric seat around and push the restraint system in as far as it will go to hide it.

Four Positions

Position C, the lowest, is recommended for a newborn. Positions A and B can be used once your child can hold their back and head upright.

Used as a bouncer

A — Highest position: up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
B — Medium position: up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
C — Lowest position: up to 7 kg (15.5 lbs)
D — Transport mode: for when the product is not in use

Care

The fabric seat is removable and machine washable
Wipe the frame with a damp cloth
Check the fabric and frame for wear before each use

Safety

Never leave your child unattended in the bouncer
Always use the restraint system while it is used as a bouncer
Never place the bouncer on a raised surface such as a table, worktop or bed
Not intended for prolonged periods of sleeping
Stop using as a bouncer once your child can sit up unaided
