Many children think it's exciting to begin using a spoon and fork to eat, just like their parents. Our baby spoons and forks have short, thick handles that are easy for small hands to hold. They can rest against the edge of the plate without slipping into the food, and a ring at the base of the handle prevents the child's hands from sliding down too far. Suitable from approx. 4 months.

How can the design help my baby self-feed?
In addition to their appealing colors and shapes, the plates, spoons and forks are specifically designed for very young children. The plate’s trefoil shape makes scooping up food easier, while the strip underneath prevents the plate from sliding around. The spoon and fork are shaped to not slide down into the plate, and the short handles are easy to grip.

When can my child start using the plate, spoon and fork sets?
From the age of approximately 4 months or when your child shows signs of wanting to self-feed.

Materials

The spoons and forks, and the rim and rubber strip of the plates, are made of polypropylene (PP) and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). The inner plate is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).

Care instructions

The baby plates, spoons and forks are all dishwasher-safe. For ease of cleaning, the two-part plate has a removable inner plate.
