Description

Sophie la girafe is the one every French family already owns, and has been for more than sixty years. She is moulded from natural rubber, she is light, and her legs and neck are exactly the shape a baby can get a whole fist around and steer to their own mouth — which is why she works as a first teether rather than just a first toy.

The spots give a young baby something to focus on, the rubber gives under sore gums, and she squeaks when she is squeezed.

How to clean her

Surface clean only. Wipe her with a damp cloth and soapy water. She is not to be immersed, sterilised or put in a dishwasher — she has a small hole in her body and water taken inside cannot be got out again.
