Description

A sleeveless, zip-front sleep bag in Hamako’s Rose Goose colourway — dusty-rose and cream geese scattered with small dots on an off-white ground. One unlined layer of Tencel Micromodal, cut wide at the hem so hips and legs can move freely, for families who want a wearable bag rather than a loose blanket in a warm bedroom.

Target Age Group

Sized 6-12 m (Hamako size 70), for babies around 70–80 cm and 7.5–11.5 kg. Fit matters more than age on a sleep bag — the neck must be snug enough that baby cannot slip inside. Not for unsupervised use under 12 months.

Materials

Cut from 100% TENCEL™ Intimate (Micromodal) — a wood-pulp lyocell/modal fibre produced by Lenzing in Austria. Hamako chooses it for a fluid, second-skin handle that stays cool against the skin, wicks moisture quickly and stays smooth through repeated washing. Hamako states the fabric is hypoallergenic, suitable for sensitive or easily irritated skin, and biodegradable.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold or warm, up to 30°C, on a gentle cycle. Wash inside out to protect the print.
Use a mild liquid detergent. Skip bleach, optical brighteners and fabric softener — softener coats lyocell fibre and dulls the finish.
Wash with like colours and avoid long soaking. Lyocell is weaker when saturated, so do not wring or scrub hard.
Line dry in the shade rather than tumble drying. Direct sun and high heat both shorten the life of the fibre.
If you iron, use a warm iron on the reverse. The fabric releases creases easily and rarely needs more.

Safe Sleep

Not for unsupervised use under 12 months. An infant should always be within sight and hearing while sleeping in a wearable bag.
Keep the cot clear — no loose bedding, blankets, pillows, bumpers or soft toys alongside a sleep bag.
Choose the size by your baby's height and weight, not age. The neck opening must be snug enough that the baby cannot slip down inside the bag.
Always place baby on their back to sleep. Discontinue use once your child can climb out of the cot.
