Description

An animal hooded swaddle in the Ella character. Two layers of Granny Ben Tencel fabric make it noticeably softer and a little warmer than a single-layer muslin, and the hood covers the one part of a newborn that loses heat fastest. Beyond swaddling it works as a blanket or thrown over a cot, cushion or car seat.

Materials

Granny Ben Tencel fabric, two layers. TENCEL™ lyocell is a botanic fibre made from eucalyptus wood pulp. It moves moisture away from the skin rather than trapping it, which is what makes it feel cool.

Care Instructions

Machine wash on a gentle cycle at low heat, or hand wash. Do not bleach and do not dry clean. Hang or line dry to keep the shape and the print. Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibre and reduces how much water the cloth can absorb.

Swaddles, blankets and other loose bedding are not recommended for babies under 12 months sleeping unsupervised, and loose bedding should be kept out of the cot. Follow your paediatrician's guidance.
